According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics at the U.S. Department of Education, the job outlook nationally for public school administrators is at or just above the average growth rate of 12%. Other sources project that nearly 40% of all campus principals in the State of Texas will be eligible to retire over the next 8 to 12 years.
